Water and Wastewater Mobile Training Units

Water & Wastewater Home > Mobile Training Units

TEEX's Water / Wastewater program currently has five “hands-on” mobile trailers that enhance the learning of the participants through real-life scenarios.

Confined Space Entry Mobile Training Unit

TEEX, a leader in hands-on safety training, now delivers confined space entry training to any location, using a unique, self-contained mobile training unit. The mobile facility contains two types of confined spaces, an 8x7x5-foot rectangular space and an 18.5-foot, 42-inch tunnel. Simulated hazards, including smoke, darkness, flashing lights and loud sounds, add to the realism of the training environment. Employees will learn first-hand how to perform confined space entry safely under a variety of scenarios, while complying with OSHA and other safety standards.

The 38-foot, self-contained mobile confined space entry unit can accommodate up to 16 students per class. The facility is equipped with three video cameras with recorders, a sound system and smoke machine as well as three strobe lights.

On-site confined space entry training can be customized for a variety of organizations and industries. Additional simulated hazards for specific industries might include high voltage electricity, water or other liquids, enclosed machinery, lack of oxygen and poisonous or explosive gases. Reduce your company’s liability, save money and reduce employee travel and lodging costs by scheduling a class at your location.
