Driving Simulator Program

We are proud to offer the MPRI FireSim™ driving simulator to support training for apparatus operators across Texas. The simulator utilizes several computers, software driving scenarios, and three HD display screens to improve your decision-making and behavior over a wide range of vehicle maneuvers. It's just like driving the real thing! The course is taught through classroom lecture and gives you the opportunity to operate the unit in a variety of simulations. The simulator is housed in a 32’ trailer for transport across the state of Texas to fire departments, area schools, and special events.
