2010 Water Short Courses
(Conducted by the Texas A&M University Food Protein R&D Center)
20th Annual Practical Membrane/Filtration & Separations Technologies Short Course
Take advantage of the broad range of first-class courses offered in our Water and Wastewater Training Program. Established in 1940 as part of the Industrial Extension Service (later the Texas Engineering Extension Service), the program provides water and wastewater professionals with approved training for obtaining state-required licenses in the water utilities industry.
You can choose from nearly 50 entry-level to advanced-level courses. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) awards credit hours toward licensing for all approved courses.
Course areas offered through this program include:
Our instructors hold Class A licenses in water, wastewater, or both, and are approved by TCEQ. The program provides a professional full-time staff as well as numerous full-time and adjunct instructors.
State-of-the-art equipment, materials, and instructional media ensure that students benefit from the latest technical information and practical experience. The program currently has five “hands-on” mobile trailers that enhance the learning of the participants through real-life scenarios.
You can also complete TCEQ water and wastewater licensing requirements in the comfort of your home through our Home Study Courses! These courses are helpful to those of you who live in rural areas where water/wastewater classes may not be held regularly.
