NEW: Trauma Pack Donation Program
TEEX Self-Aid/Buddy Aid (SABA) training provided through the Texas Law Enforcement Extension Program teaches law enforcement professionals life support and limb-saving techniques needed to survive in traumatic medical emergency until advanced medical help is available. The training teaches best-practices in trauma response and includes the use of pressure bandaging, hemostatic (blood clotting) agents and tourniquets to treat penetrating trauma such as gunshot wounds. Through the Trauma Pack Donation Program, each responder completing TEEX SABA training receives an individual pack. While trauma kits are valued at approximately $100, any donation amount is appreciated. All donations received go directly to the purchase of individual trauma packs.
