As an international training organization focused on the emergency response disciplines, the Texas Engineering Extension Service, through its Knowledge Engineering Center, has had an opportunity to develop a number of training-related software products for Emergency Preparedness organizations. We are pleased to bring the following products and services to you through a pre-negotiated discount contract with the Department of Information Resources.

Task Force Personnel Records System

This system keeps personnel files and training records organized and available 24/7 over the web. Training Portal

Our Training Portal Software was developed to assist with tracking and reporting on homeland security related training available for first responders. The system is already in use within the state of Texas, and is now being offered to other states, agencies, and organizations.
The system provides course calendars and descriptions, online registration forms and downloads, and an online transcript for first responders, elected officials, emergency managers, and other citizens to track their training records and certificates. It provides those interested in training opportunities and events with a one-stop-shop for reviewing different catalogues and schedules and makes completing registration forms quick and easy.
For system administrators, a wealth of admin tools facilitate the updating of the course catalog and descriptions, reviewing registration requests, approving user accounts and training requests, scheduling and publicizing events, and coordinating with local POCs and training coordinators. In addition, an ad-hoc reporting tool provides training-related statistics and student details, that can be filtered by discipline, region, course or date; each class listing also provides downloadable student rosters and contact information sheets.

Each of the products listed is a web-based ‘hosted’ solution. TEEX provides not only the software, but also the server hardware, maintenance and tech support for each product on an annual basis, meaning there is no equipment to buy and no IT folks required. The software may be tailored as needed for your organization, and will be accessible at your own URL via an Internet browser.
