TTP313 - Fiber Optic Engineering Fundamentals - 20.00 Hours

Description

The nature of fiber optic cables and the availability of the different types of fiber optic terminals provide many options for designing any particular fiber optic system. It is the engineer's responsibility to develop a system that will satisfy the technical requirements and ensure economic feasibility. This course introduces students to the concepts of fiber optic engineering. Upon successful completion of this course, you understand how to properly specify and select components, design cost-effective fiber optic systems, properly use the language when discussing fiber optic communications with vendors. TEEX is authorized by IACET to offer 2.0 CEUs for this program. This course is BICSI approved.
