Course Description


WWW011 - Intermediate Water Laboratory - 32.00 Hours

None.

Description

This course offers comprehensive hands-on training of EPA & State acceptable methods for the analysis of raw and treated water. It is taught in a safe, laboratory facility utilizing modern analytical instrumentation and apparatus.

Students are guided through procedures and will perform various hands-on analyses of samples and standards. Students will gain skills on setting-up procedures, calibrations, trouble-shooting techniques, data calculations and interpretation of results.

This course increases laboratory skills for both operators and those entering the career of Laboratory Technician. TEEX is authorized by the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) to offer 3.2 CEUs for this program.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued 32 hours credit toward water licensing and 24 hours training credit for water treatment specialists by the TCEQ.
