Course Description


WWW504 - Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Refresher: Practical Skills (Hands On) - 8.00 Hours

Prerequisites

None.

Description

This 8-hour class (TCEQ Course # 1201) is primarily designed to provide continuing education and a “Refresher” on test procedures for licensed Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers, (BPAT). This class includes 8 hours of “hands-on” or Practical Skills training as required by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, (TCEQ).

NOTE: Students enrolling enrolling in this course (WWW504) should NOT enroll in WWW502 because they occur simultaneously. Students seeking 24 hours of renewal (including 8 hours of hands-on) should enroll in WWW502. and WWW501.

Completing this course provides:

  • 8 hours of continuing education credit for licensed Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT)
  • 8 hours of training credit to an applicant for a Plumbing Inspectors license (through TSBPE)

Audience

NOTE: To receive 8 hours of continuing education, the participant must be currently licensed as a Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester, or other license as appropriate.
