TEL100 - NFPA 1061 Telecommunicator I - 20.00 Hours

Description

NOTICE: A late fee of $50.00 will be assessed to payments made after the registration deadline for the Annual Municipal School class.

This course is designed to provide entry level knowledge and skills to allow participants to meet the Job Performance Requirements (JPR) as defined in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1061, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Public Safety Telecommunicator, chapter 4,“Public Safety Telecommunicator I” (2007 edition). Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to respond to public safety service requests and acquire, process and disseminate information to other telecommunications personnel for appropriate dispatch of resources. In addition, participants who successfully complete the course and pass the required written and skills tests will receive a National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) certification.

Class Hours:
Sunday: 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
