This course is designed to provide knowledge and skills to allow you to meet the Job Performance Requirements (JPR) as defined in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1061, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Public Safety Telecommunicator (2007 ed.), Chapter 4, “Public Safety Telecommunicator I.”
The course will focus on obtaining adequate and accurate information for the appropriate dispatch of resources.
Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the required written and skills tests will receive a National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) certification.
There are no prerequisites for this class
This course is designed for individuals who provide emergency and non-emergency dispatch services for
Pro Board certification also enhances the qualifications of applicants for foreign service and Department of Defense (DoD).
