HWS002 - Work Zone Traffic Control - Open Enrollment - 16.00 Hours

Description

NOTE: This is the open enrollment, fee-based version of Work Zone Traffic Control and is designed for highway contractors.
There is also a no-cost, TxDOT-contracted version of this course that is ONLY for Texas city/county personnel - Work Zone Traffic Control (HWS001).


Work zones can become danger zones if traffic control is not set up properly. Preparedness - particularly training - is the key to preventing many work zone collisions. This course provides necessary training in the basics of work zone traffic control. You will learn the importance of complying with the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and all relative TxDOT standards which apply to TxDOT roadways including the Interstate System. TEEX is authorized by IACET to offer 1.6 CEUs for this program.
