Course Description


HWS114 - Train-the-Trainer Flaggers - 4.00 Hours

Description

IMPORTANT PREQUISITE: In order to participate in this course, the participant MUST meet ONE of the following prerequisites BEFORE they register for the course:

  1. Verification by TEEX Customer Care Center of successful completion of the TEEX Work Zone Traffic Control (HWS002) course.
  2. OR

  3. Participant provides TEEX Customer Care Center a copy of the successful completion certificate for the TEEX Work Zone Traffic Control (HWS002)course.
  4. OR

  5. Participant provides TEEX Customer Care Center a copy of the successful completion certificate for the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS)course.

NOTE: The participant will NOT be registered for the course until the prerequisite is met.

This four-hour "train-the-trainer" course is designed to enable supervisors to train their personnel in the basics of flagging. This hands-on course incorporates demonstrations and practice sessions to teach good flagging techniques. Participants receive a step-by-step lesson plan for teaching flagging basics and also receive supplemental training aids.
