MAR006 - Shipboard Firefighting for Landbased Firefighters - 28.00 Hours

Prerequisites

Due to the strenuous nature of firefighting and rescue activities, participants should secure a professional evaluation of their physical condition prior to enrolling in this course.

Description

This course is designed primarily for municipal fire departments and industrial fire brigades with marine terminals within their jurisdictions. It provides the student with information and training specific to the marine environment and utilizes scenario-based, live-fire exercises to allow the student to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the course.

Organizations whose fire protection responsibilities include marine facilities and vessels will benefit from this program.

Other Information

Tuition includes course materials, protective clothing and lunch. Lodging is not included. Tuition must be paid prior to or on the first day of class unless other arrangements have been made.
