ENV220 - Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I and II) - 40.00 Hours

Prerequisites

None.

Description

Learn the significant concepts and skills associated with conducting Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments. These assessments are standard for the protection of property investors, owners and managers from environmental liability under CERCLA. The Phase I portion of the course covers the four components of the ASTM 1527 practice. The Phase II portion addresses the planning and procedures for conducting investigative sampling in the evaluation of potential environmental contamination.

Suggested: Chemistry for Environmental Professionals (ENV235) Introduction to Environmental Health and Safety (ENV213). This course does not provide EPA accreditation for asbestos inspection and sampling. Asbestos accreditation is obtained through TEEX's Asbestos Training for Inspectors (ENV004) course.
