This course is designed to introduce the school bus trainer to the perils of driving at night and how to effectively recognize the drivers mental and physical condition: the importance of the pre-trip inspection and how to manage time and space.
Topics
- Learn to drive on well lit streets with heavy traffic
- Learn to drive from well lighted areas to dark areas
- Learn to drive on narrow roads with no lighting and sharp turns
- Learn the difficulty of performing these maneuvers with only the headlights on the bus
- Learn to recognize the physical and emotional condition of the drivers
- Learn the importance of Pre-trip inspection and mirrors
- Learn to manage time and space with respect to the circle of Safety zround the bus.
