Course Description
PPT100 - Texas Transit Bus Type 2 & 3 Driver's Training School "Train the Trainer" - 30.00 Hours

You will gain the skills and experience a trainer needs to conduct behind-the-wheel training in the field. You will learn to teach public transit bus drivers the techniques for operating vehicles safely and how to avoid collisions. Classroom training covers such topics as attitude, problem solving, and state laws.

- Teaching techniques
- Correct mirror usage and pre-trip inspections
- Backing (straight, weave, gradual, and sharp)
- Demo backing weave and turning (sharp right, sharp left, and left with problem objects)
- Parking (parallel and demo into a stall)
- Documentation
- Final instructions/implementation
