Crane HandlingKnow the significant safety issues to be considered. Participants will be introduced to the various types of mobile cranes. Participants are provided with intermediate information concerning crane operations, crane inspection and maintenance, rigging inspection, reading load charts, and corresponding Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and consensus standards. Exercises in applying OSHA and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards, reading load charts and rigging tables, and preventing accidents are conducted.
