Understanding the principles of security and incorporating them to support operations of a facility is an integral component of today's "Risk Management Process". This "On-Site" planning/management level course is designed to provide selected key members of a facility's management team the "Hands-On" process within risk management that addresses threat based vulnerability assessments. The course delivery methodology consists of lectures, small group discussion, multimedia scenarios, and a field activity where participants conduct an "On-Site" assessment of the host company's facility.
The basic objectives of a security system are to deter, detect, delay, assess, and respond. Security administrations and company managers must be sensitive to the facility's security vulnerabilities while insuring the operations of the company are not impeded. Audience should include:
