Course Description
EOT231 - International Explosive Ordnance Disposal Level I - 80.00 Hours
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the TEEX/ISSEE Explosives Foundation course.Description
TEEX / ISSEE offers this 10 day course to provide personnel with the knowledge required to perform basic EOD procedures and clearance operations, under supervision, in accordance with International Standards. On successful completion of the course the individual will receive ISSEE and City & Guilds certification to provide them the opportunity to work abroad. Students will have an introduction to dangerous area marking, detector / locator equipment operations, explosive ordnance clearance and mine action search techniques. Explosive ordnance identification of projectiles, mortars, rockets, grenades, mines, air-dropped munitions and sub munitions and guided weapons will be discussed as well as methods of demolition / disposal. Mine actions, to include marking of dangerous areas, search and clearance techniques will be included in this training.
