Course Description


EOT239 - Heavy Equipment Operator for Ordnance Workers - 40.00 Hours

Prerequisites

Successful completion of the TEEX UXO Tech Level I Course

Description

TEEX offers this 5 day course is to provide the participant with the basic knowledge required to operate a backhoe and forklift in a safe manner in a UXO field environment. This program is geared towards UXO technicians who may be tasked to stack or unearth buried ordnance items. During this course of instruction the student will learn safety, operation, and maneuverability of two common pieces of equipment used in the UXO field of work. On successful completion of the course the individual will receive TEEX certificates that allow the graduate to operate backhoes and forklifts on Hazardous Waste sites. This course places heavy emphasis on safety and is designed to meet OSHA, ANSI and ASME requirements as well as provides instruction in industry standard consensus practice.
