LET636 - PPCT Ground Avoidance, Ground Escape (GAGE) Instructor Recertification - 16.00 Hours

Prerequisites

Participants must be currently certified PPCT GAGE Instructors.

Description

The PPCT Ground Avoidance Ground Escape Instructor course is designed to teach students how to avoid being taken to the ground and how to effectively escape if they do find themselves there. It reviews tactics for both open and narrow environments, reviews the four most common ground positions and escapes, refines the student's physical technique; and presents instructional methods for teaching survival skills. The Instructor Recertification course ensures that participants stay current with PPCT protocols and procedures as well as hones and enhances their physical skills.

    Audience

    Participants should be currently commissioned peace officers, licensed security officers or public safety trainers. Physical participation is required. Participant should be in good physical condition.
