The Environmental Technician Orientation course provides entry-level participants working on environmental related projects with information specific to the Certified Hazardous Materials Practitioner (CHMP). During the course, students are provided with an overview of the program and those requirements necessary to sit for the CHMP exam.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Participants will be required to don personal protective equipment to include a respirator and chemical protective clothing while conducting outdoor field exercises.
Complete an OSHA physical examination in accordance with 29 CFR §1910.120 and 29 CFR §1910.134
