Description

The Forklift Operator course utilizes OSHA guidelines to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to properly operate a forklift. In addition to safety best practices, participants receive hands-on opportunities to ensure each understands equipment-specific stability requirements, fork adjustment protocols, fueling procedures, and other use issues.

Prerequisite

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Requirements

In order to fully participate in all field work exercises, students will need the following equipment:

  • hard hat
  • steel-toed footwear
  • gloves
  • safety vest for visibility
