Description
The Forklift Operator Instructor course is designed to develop students skills necessary to train personnel in the proper, safe, and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks. Candidate instructors successfully completing this course will have met all OSHA requirements established through 1910.178 (I) (2) (iii) enabling each to deliver training in forklift operation.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of the TEEX Forklift Operation (HEP273) course within last 24 months.
Requirements
- In order to fully participate in all student teaching assignments, candidate instructors should bring a personal computer or laptop.
Recommended
Participants should have prior training as an instructor, presentation experience, and a safety background.
