This two-day course focuses on identifying exciting and highly-successful tools for addressing the total fire protection challenge via lessons learned in other communities, resources available, and the means and value of building partnerships and coalitions. The course discusses plans appropriate for communities of all sizes, but focuses on smaller communities and departments.
You will come away empowered to make change and thus build departments that are more effective at serving both customers and members by learning how to better manage the fire prevention function.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
To meet NFA attendance requirements, participants must complete each training module and complete all required course assignments, activities, quizzes, and/or end of course exam. Exceptions may be discussed with lead instructor.
