This course covers the skills and techniques mid-level managers need to provide leadership and direction for their departments. Content includes an overview of significant economic, social, political, and technological influences affecting fire-service operations. You will have the opportunity to identify and relate these influences to your personal and professional situations, and to practice strategies for managing changes resulting from those influences.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
To meet NFA attendance requirements, participants must complete each training module and complete all required course assignments, activities, quizzes, and/or end of course exam. Exceptions may be discussed with lead instructor.
