5e/6 wiringThe Category 5e/6 Wiring and Testing Certification course provides participants with information specific to industry standards and proper installation techniques necessary for accurate inspections and quality repairs made to faulty connectors. During this training, participants have the opportunity to practice all learned skills and in a group setting led by TEEX instructors during assigned exercises and other classroom scenarios.


There are no prerequisites for this course.


Applicable TIA/EIA Standards +Testing requirements +Proper techniques and procedures for installing Category 5e and Category 6 wiring and hardware +Practical exercises: pull wire, terminate wire into jacks, terminate wire onto end connectors +Testing exercises
