classroom setting with instructor and student raising handThe Effective Instructional Techniques course prepares students to deliver training to adult learners utilizing a variety of fundamental teaching methods. The course provides candidate instructors with various resources necessary to deliver quality instruction as well as media options designed to work well in a classroom environment.

NOTE: Course meets Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements for the instructor course requirement for Methods of Teaching or Effective Instructional Techniques.


There are no prerequisites for this course.


  • In order to fully participate in all class activities, a personal computer is recommended.
