The Emergency Services Training Institute at TEEX equips firefighters and personnel to better protect people and property in four targeted categories: Department of Defense, instructor training, industrial firefighting and Liquefied Natural Gas emergency response. DoD firefighters and contract personnel can select courses at Brayton Fire Training Field or at DoD Cooperative Learning Centers on Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine bases around the world. Instructor training courses meet or exceed National Fire Protection Association standards and are designed for Department of Defense, Industrial Brigade, and/or municipal personnel. Courses are eligible for certification by selected Texas state agencies and commissions. Industrial firefighting for in-plant emergencies incorporates the most advanced methodology with skills training at Brayton Fire Training field or at client locations. LNG courses provide hands-on spill control and fire suppression training for personnel in production, transportation, storage and response activities.
