TEEX's Brayton Fire Training Field served as a backdrop for a feature on Texas A&M quarterback Reggie McNeal in the Aug. 19 edition of the Dallas Morning News titled "The heat is on."

Acclaimed Dallas Morning News sports photographer Michael Mulvey conducted the photo shoot with McNeal during the Municipal Fire Training School on July 28. Brayton's Chemical Complex provided the "wall of fire" Mulvey needed as a backdrop for the McNeal photo. A description of TEEX and its history of firefighter training appears with the article.

Mulvey, an A&M graduate, had visited Brayton Fire Training Field several times early in his career as a photographer with The Battalion and The Eagle before working with international news wires Associated Press and Reuters.
