Storms move out, Texas Task Force 1 demobilizes

With the most-severe weather having moved through the state, Texas Task Force 1 has demobilized all of its swift-water rescue assets — those deployed to the San Antonio area and those on standby in College Station.

Helicopters from the U.S. Coast Guard and Texas Military Forces have been demobilized, as well.

Texas Task Force 1 is sponsored by the Texas Engineering Extension Service , or TEEX, and is comprised of more than 300 personnel representing more than 60 jurisdictions and agencies from across the state of Texas.
