Wednesday, October 16, 2019

Please join us for two days of information sharing and live flying vendor demonstrations at the Texas Aviation Summit sponsored by Reveille Peak Ranch, Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) | National UAS Integration Center, Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Police Association. Hear from industry leaders and State of Texas public safety officials on how Texas is leading the nation on the integration of manned and unmanned aviation.

Vendors will showcase solutions from various industries including public safety, agriculture, construction, public utilities, and energy. The summit will also provide airspace for UAS and manned helicopter flight demonstrations. There will be technology solutions for mapping, photogrammetry, field analytics, remote power, command centers, voice, video and data communications and more.

Running simultaneously with the summit on the second day, TEEX|National UAS Integration Center will host the UAS Rodeo. Teams will participate in a series of events to showcase their skills by competing in numerous varying challenges. From completing a very elaborate NIST course to search challenges and more, two-person teams can showcase and prove why they are the best. Watch as teams square off to be the king of the sky in the UAS Rodeo.

Lodging is available to government employees at Eagles Wing Retreat Center near the ranch. This is dorm-style lodging and individuals must bring their own sheets and towels. Other lodging options can be found by searching "hotels in Burnet TX" on Google. Google has a good list of hotels and lodges. The link is too long to post! Summit eligible for TCOLE credit.
