COLLEGE STATION – Charley Todd has been tapped to serve as Associate Director and Chief Financial Officer for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).
Todd previously served as Associate Agency Director of Strategic and Educational Services, where he has developed the TEEX Strategic Plan and incorporated long-range initiatives such as capital planning, land development and construction.
He has served as the Agency Ethics and Compliance Officer, Export Control Officer, and Enterprise Risk Management Officer. He has overseen the Strategic and Education Services unit of TEEX, and also handled TEEX Public Information Act requests.
TEEX Director Gary Sera said, “Charley is inheriting a top-notch Financial Services Department, who very quietly and behind the scenes manages the day-to-day financial operations of the agency. I believe his combination of long-range financial planning experience coupled with his daily operations expertise will make this high-quality operation even better.”
Todd joined TEEX in May 2000 after serving 22 years in the U.S. Army, where he gained experience in aviation, strategic and operational planning, military support to civil authorities and organizing relief efforts for refugees. His previous roles at TEEX include Director of the TEEX State Domestic Preparedness Division and Senior Health, Safety and Planning Officer.
Todd is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in human resource management from the University of Utah. He also holds a Master of Military Arts and Sciences degree from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
