An agreement between the Praxis Aerospace Concepts International Corporation (PACI) and the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) will enhance the integration of Unmanned Aircraft / Aerial Systems (UAS) by public safety agencies.
The two parties agreed to provide joint services and products to public safety agencies in the U.S. and International airspace. The agreement is aimed at mutually beneficial areas of opportunities like credentialing of public safety agencies, UAS policies and procedures, and advanced training support. Under the agreement signed on June 30, both parties will also focus on developing training courses and identifying the necessary funding in support of public safety agencies.
According to PACI Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Daniels, “Praxis Aerospace Concepts International Corporation is very excited about this agreement with the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. We believe that this collaboration represents a major step for UAS training and credentialing, which should allow us to work together with various United States and International public safety agencies.”
TEEX CEO Gary Sera said, “This agreement between TEEX and Praxis Aerospace Concepts International will provide needed support for public safety agencies. TEEX looks forward to leveraging our 50 years of training experience to enhance training and credentialing in the UAS industry to public safety agencies across the U.S.” This agreement is the result of many discussions and consultations between the two parties, initiated in January 2017.
