  • BP presents TEEX with plaque at LNG ribbon-cutting ceremony

BP Global Energy presented TEEX with a plaque of appreciation April 26 during a dedication ceremony for the completion of the Brayton Fire Training Field’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) prop.

Robin Passmore, BP manager of health safety, security and environmental, presented the plaque to Les Bunte, division director of TEEX’s Emergency Services Training Institute. The plaque signifies the collaborative efforts between TEEX and BP to complete the LNG prop, which is the largest of its kind in the world.

The dedication ceremony wrapped up the completion of a weeklong LNG workshop that hosted approximately 30 BP students from across the globe. The students came to TEEX from the United Kingdom, Australia, Trinidad, China, Scotland, West Africa and sites throughout the United States.
