Course Description
Implementing a successful recovery strategy is a critical function of disaster management. Recovery is a broad concept, and bouncing back in the wake of a major disaster can be challenging, not just for the community, but for the public officials responsible for recovery efforts. Jurisdictions should know where to find recovery guidance, how to plan for and manage recovery operations, and what public assistance is available to their community. This introductory course will explain the basics of these important concepts.
NOTE: Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email, a password for access to the course, and a required completion date.
