Course Description
The Electric Power Hot Line Training – Emergency Procedures course is designed for experienced industry professionals with responsibility for crew operations and proper rubber gloving. During training participants will be provided information surrounding proper procedures specific to performing a Job Safety Analysis when responding to an emergency distribution hazard and observations of crew operation scenarios. At the completion of this course, students will be able to assess, plan, communicate, implement, and supervise emergency repairs to an overhead distribution system.

Course Completion Requirements
Participant Must Provide
- Rubber gloves (class 2)
- Rubber sleeves (class 2)
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
- Hand tools
- Work boots
- Long-sleeved shirt
- A photo identification on the first day of class. See the Participant Handbook for approved forms of identification and additional guidelines.
Attendance Requirements
Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed

Prior Training Courses or Knowledge
It is recommended, but not required, participants be an experienced lineman and have completed the Electric Power Hotline Training Single Phase Systems (EPP039) and Electric Power Hot Line Training Three Phase Systems (EPP038) courses.
