Course Description

Upon successful completion of this module, participants will be able to determine new requirements as they pertain to HB4150-William Thomas Heath Powerline Safety Act.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Attendance Requirements

Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed

  • You will need to have a reliable internet connection.
  • Your computer will need speakers or a headphone set to hear the audio.
  • A microphone is not required, but recommended because it will make participation easier for you.

Upon successful completion, you will be able to:

  • Cite new Texas electrical standards.
  • Identify reporting and inspection requirements.
  • Explain hazard identification and reduction.
  • Explain clearance requirements.
