Course Description

Advanced Industrial Interior is a hands-on class designed for the industrial firefighter who wishes to build upon their interior skills in a physically and mentally demanding course. This open enrollment course covers specialized rescue and life safety tactics, fire behavior, and the use of thermal imaging cameras.  Participants will also discuss communications on the scene, accountability, building construction, pre-planning and scene size-up.

Participants will practice using various alternative escape route techniques when the primary escape route becomes unusable, with a special emphasis on self-rescue tools and their use.
