This two-day course will provide an overview of the knowledge, skills, and processes required to conduct successful risk reduction efforts among older adult populations and very young children. This course is designed for students who work in the field of prevention, safety education, and community leadership positions. You will learn to focus on the factors that contribute to high fire incidence with older adult and very young populations.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
To meet NFA attendance requirements, participants must complete each training module and complete all required course assignments, activities, quizzes, and/or end of course exam. Exceptions may be discussed with lead instructor.
- Fire risk for very young children
- Fire risk for oler and disabled populations
This course is available to all emergency and crisis response personnel.
