Course Description

This online course is part 6 of the TEEX FAA online refresher trainings.  Extinguishing Agents covers aircraft fuels and the use of water and foam as an extinguishing agent in aircraft and rescue firefighting operations.  Types of foam concentrates, foam proportioning systems, and foam application will also be explained.  Other agents such as dry chemicals, powders, and clean agents will be discussed, as will conserving and resupplying.
