Now in its 10th year, the South Texas All Hazards Conference is one of the largest and most comprehensive conferences dealing with emergency response in the state. The Hidalgo County Health and Human Services takes a proactive approach to public health and emergency preparedness. Emergency responders hone their skills and utilize all available resources to be prepared for all emergencies, whether they are related to the weather, disease, accident, a deliberate act or any critical event.
