Public Firefighting Demo — Night Burn — July 28
On July 28, TEEX will host a public firefighting demonstration in conjunction with Municipal Fire Training School. Everyone is invited to this free event. Gates open at the Brayton Fire Training Field at 7 p.m., and a children’s fire-awareness class begins at 7:30 p.m. Immediately following the awareness class, TEEX instructors will explain and demonstrate techniques used to extinguish fires on selected full-scale, live-fire training props. The event will end at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Should forecasted weather conditions warrant cancellation of the event, TEEX will notify local media outlets.
