Asphalt Exposition features latest techniques

The Asphalt Exposition on April 18-19 in San Antonio will feature a one-day seminar and hands-on demonstrations of the latest in products and equipment in the asphalt industry.

Sponsored by the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), the event will be held at the TEEX South Central Texas Regional Training Center in HemisFair Plaza.

The event provides an opportunity for road crew members and supervisors to talk to experts in the field and learn the latest techniques in pothole patching, crack sealing, coatings, modified chip-sealing and hot mix application.

The one-day seminar will be followed by demonstrations of equipment for rolling, chipping, distribution, hot mix, pothole patching and crack sealing. Lunch will be provided each day, and enrollment is limited to 60 participants.

Exhibitors and vendors will include: Cimline, Crafco of Texas, Duraco Industries, EZ Seal, TXI Texas Industries, Unique Paving Materials, Aster, Molecular Coating Specialist and Rosco.
