Description
The Underground Electrical Systems course provides industry professionals with information specific to installation and maintenance of high voltage underground electrical systems. During training participants will receive information surrounding different types of underground distribution systems, various types of high voltage cables and insulations used in underground distribution, cable installation procedures, and proper cable preparation techniques for splicing and terminating a high voltage distribution line. In addition to these training topics, participants will also receive guidance on the proper techniques required for isolation and grounding of underground cable sections.

Attendance Requirements
Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed.
