Description
The Electric Power Line Reconductoring course provides participants with training specific to the proper setup and use of power line reconductoring tools, equipment, and machines necessary to safely perform a reconductor operation on a three-phase overhead distribution system. At the completion of this course, participants will able to identify safe work procedures, apply proper grounding techniques, safely position aerial devices, layout conductors, install dollies and operate tension rigs when installing a new conductor.

Attendance Requirements
Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed.
Recommended
Prior Training Courses or Knowledge
It is recommended, but not required, participants be qualified to perform energized maintenance or have completed the Electric Power Hotline Training Single Phase Systems (EPP039) and Electric Power Hot Line Training Three Phase Systems (EPP038) courses.
