The Bucket and Digger Truck Operations Instructor course provides experienced industry professionals with the knowledge, skills, and materials necessary to train bucket and digger truck operators on the safe use, inspection, and required maintenance of bucket trucks and digger derricks. During training, candidate instructors will utilize both company owned and TEEX Bucket and Digger Truck vehicles to perform skill testing, job-related simulations, and scenario driven aerial lift manipulation exercises. Candidate instructors will also have the opportunity to apply adult learning principles during practice presentations designed to build confidence and proficiency while utilizing newly developed facilitation skills and instructional materials.
TEEX Certification/Licensing Requirement
Participants must provide evidence of completion of the TEEX Bucket and Digger Truck Operations (EPP201) course or equivalent training verified by their current employer through a completed Student Qualification Form. This prerequisite may be accomplished by uploading a copy of the documents during registration using the TEEX Student Portal. Once received and approved, the participant will be notified by email they have met all prerequisites and have been added to the class roster. All documentation is due at least 14 business days prior to the start of class.

Participants must be qualified to operate vehicles of the size and class that carry digger derricks and aerial lift devices.

Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed.
