This course is designed to give the participants understanding of the basic concepts and techniques of hazardous materials first response. Instruction is based on 29 CFR 1910.120 (OSHA) and 40 CFR 311 (EPA) but does not include hands-on practical applications/simulation exercises.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
To meet NFA attendance requirements, participants must complete each training module and complete all required course assignments, activities, quizzes, and/or end of course exam. Exceptions may be discussed with lead instructor.
