Description

This course is designed to educate students about the hazards of rescuing personnel from excavated trenches and to provide hands-on training in methods for the safe rescue of injured workers.

This course follows all aspects of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P Excavations.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded 1.6 Continuing Education Units (CEU) certified through the International Association for Continuing Education & Training.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Attendance Requirements

Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed.

Due to the nature of the training, a physical examination and fit test is recommended prior to enrolling in this course. Courses will begin at 8 a.m. on the first day of class unless other arrangements have been made.
