This course provides knowledge and skills to allow you to meet the Job Performance Requirements (JPR) as defined in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1061, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Public Safety Telecommunicator (2007 ed.), Chapter 5, “Public Safety Telecommunicator II.”
The course focuses on disseminating dispatch information and developing an emergency response.
Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the required written and skills tests receive a National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) certification.
There are no prerequisites to attend this course.

You are required to provide documentation of prerequisites for Telecommunicator I (NFPA 1061). The documentation you provide as proof of prerequisite must meet certain requirements.

A $50.00 late fee will be assessed to payments made after the registration deadline.
This class starts Wednesday at 1 p.m.
- Wednesday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. – noon or until finished
