The Cable Fault Locating course provides participants with information and best practices surrounding proper use and coordination when cable fault problems are being evaluated. During the course, students are provided guidance on the steps necessary to locate the path and depth of cables as well as determine the appropriate type of test equipment needed to perform such tasks.

Participants should have a basic understanding surrounding the proper use and application of copper cable within the utility industry.
